A Mathematics Oasis
Assistant Professor of Mathematics Bahar Acu received funding from ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s Institute for Global/Local Action & Study to take two students to the Nesin Mathematics Village in Turkey last summer. Acu selected Caro Harwell ’24 and Charlotte Richards ’25 (pictured), who served as teaching assistants for Acu’s geometric topology class.
