Ava Park-Matt '27 reads her children's book, βRiley the Rhino,β to students from a local elementary school. Park-Matt wrote her book to fulfill ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ's unique social responsibility praxis requirement, which requires every ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊ student to take a class that includes at least 40 hours of community service before graduating.

Social Responsibility in Action
Kenneth Butler β22 β who started working on his bachelorβs degree while incarcerated, through ΝΓΧΣΟΘΙϊβs Inside-Out Pathway-to-BA program β received a 2022β23 Fulbright grant to study the ways that Ugandaβs prison system has reduced recidivism rates.
